Does Donna Day (left) in "Mean Seasons" remind you of Edna Mode (center) in The Incredibles? She should: physically, both characters were apparently modeled on Edith Head (right), one of classical Hollywood's leading costume designers. Edna was voiced by the incomparable Brad Bird, but Batman doubled down on the joke by bringing in Tippi Hedren to play Day—Hedren had modeled some of Head's finest work in two Hitchcock films, The Birds and Marnie.
