A beguiling premise: Bruce meets and marries the perfect woman and gives up his life as Batman to be with her. Of course, matters must not end this way, so we spend the first act wondering how things will sour. Will Susan reprise Diana Rigg's exit from On Her Majesty's Secret Service? Will things "just not work out"? Affairs of the heart are treacherously hard to pull off, especially with a character as dark and reticent as Batman. So the episode tucks tail before the end, choosing a more conventional, comic-book resolution. That Susan proves something of a Venus Flytrap is a nifty surprise, but it robs Wayne's eventual loss of all poignancy.

What Others Are Saying ...
"[W]asn't too bad story wise though.  It would have seriously benefitted from an original BTAS' length of 22 to 24 minutes rather than TNBA's 18 to 20 time period.  It also would have benefitted from better animation, and better voice acting."World's Finest
