Reluctant hero and reluctant villain, Mr. Freeze would seem to be left at the end of "Deep Freeze" with all that he can reasonably hope for: a kind of cold quiescence. The world has failed this unassuming man; nothing could excuse the cruelty of breaking open his iceberg and stirring up his thoroughly stilled hopes.

Typically, the've slipped a little satire into the story: sly digs at the man and conglomerate called "Walt Disney."
